Volunteers are the heart of any non-profit, charitable organization. We hope you'll consider becoming a part of the Carrousel family of volunteers. Below are just a few examples of how you might get involved. Call or email us today.

Administrative team

• General administrative support. Tasks and times vary, with September through November as the busiest time period.

Sales team

• Help canvass individuals and/or companies and encourage their financial support.

• Help with Sponsorship sales.

Special Event & Hospitality teams

• Help host a special event for fun, fellowship and fundraising.

• Assist staff at the Scholarship Awards Presentation.

• Help host our high school representatives during their participation. Calendar times vary – this is a fun way to have a positive impact on our leaders of tomorrow.

• Assist staff at interview sessions.

Chaperones

• Be on hand to support the high school representatives when they are in Charlotte during Thanksgiving week for orientation, the awards ceremony activities and the parade. Stay at the uptown hotel with the reps and help coordinate their activities and appearances.

Parade Day Volunteers

• Help line-up and disband parade units.

• Serve as a parade route marshal.

• Help host the celebrity grandstand.

• Monitor concessionaires on the parade route.
