2008 SCHEDULE DEADLINES
Carolinas’ Carrousel Queens’ Scholarship Program
Information packets were sent to area high schools in early
April. There is no “open” category of participation in this
program.
Please pay special attention to this schedule in planning your
selection events. It is critical that we receive your school's
confirmation to participate and your student's information as
set forth in this schedule.

Receipt of school's Intention to Participate form
$235.00 registration fee must be included with form. |

Friday,
October 10, 2008 |
Representative's Information Sheets
and Photos Due.
Packets must be delivered by 4:00pm on Friday, October
10. Failure to meet the 4:00pm deadline will negatively
affect your student's scoring and may result in
student’s elimination from program.
Applications include general information questions,
essay responses, formal transcripts, three letters of
recommendation, B/W photos, prepared in multiple sets
for the interview team.
Delivery prior to October 10 is encouraged.
Parade office is open from 9:00am to 4:00pm on weekdays. |

6 minute individual interviews. Appointment times will be given out at the Mandatory Orientation Meeting on November 9. Interviews will be held at Park

Thanksgiving Week Activities
Representatives will arrive Tuesday afternoon. They will
participate in several official meals and festival
events including the Wednesday evening Awards
Celebration Event and the Carolinas' Thanksgiving Day
Parade. |
