Carrousel Needs Sponsors!
The Carrousel Parade and the Carrousel Scholarship Program are produced by Carolinas' Carrousel, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. The programs cannot exist without the support and generosity of sponsors and benefactors.
Both of these programs have been important traditions in this region for decades. In 2012, we celebrated the 65th anniversary of the Carrousel Parade and the 45th anniversary of the Carrousel Scholarship Program.
However, the future of the parade and the scholarship program is in jeopardy. We must secure additional sponsorship support in order to continue.
We are reaching out to corporations and organizations in the region to establish new partnerships to
ensure that the Carrousel Parade and the Carrousel Scholarship
Program will continue bigger and better well into the future. As
an ardent supporter of the parade once said:
"I couldn't imagine the Thanksgiving and Christmas season not
being ushered in by our Carrousel Parade. There are some things
that are truly so much a part of this city that the very
character of the city could be changed without them, and this
parade is one of those very vital traditions."

THE END OF AN ERA . . .
Thank you to all the participants and spectators who made the 2012 Carolinas' Carrousel Parade one of the largest in recent memory. The sunny weather added to the festive celebration of the parade's 65th anniversary, which featured past Carrousel Queens from the parade's history.
