A bright and sunny Thanksgiving Day welcomed the 2011 Belk Carolinas' Carrousel Parade as it marched down Tryon Street, starting at 10 A.M. Huge crowds enjoyed the 22 floats, 13 marching bands, 7 step teams, among the 110+ units in the parade.
The parade was broadcast on WBTV at 1:00 P.M. on Thanksgiving Day and will be repeated on Christmas morning, starting at 4:30 A.M.
Thanks to everyone who came out to see one of the largest Thanksgiving Parades in the United States! We'll see you next year! |

58 Carrousel Representatives as the 2011 Carrousel Scholar at our Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, November 23.

The Pride of Providence Marching Band was selected as the Spirit of Carrousel winner in the 2011 Belk Carolinas' Carrousel Parade.
They will lead the parade as the Honor Band in the 2012 parade. Click
